Saint Lucia recently wrapped up the tenth annual Saint Lucia Showcase The Americas, a five-day event held from July 27 to 31, 2025.
The business exchange brought together tourism suppliers and buyers from Canada, the U.S., Latin America, Martinique, and Trinidad and Tobago.
According to a press release, the focus was on building global partnerships and advancing Saint Lucia’s reputation for community-based, sustainable tourism.
On July 29, the Industry Insights Conference took place at Sandals Grande, highlighting Saint Lucia’s strengths and future goals.

Six keynote speakers led sessions covering digital transformation, global branding, sustainability, and destination analytics. They offered strategies aimed at helping Saint Lucian businesses stay competitive, profitable, and resilient.
The Community Tourism Agency played a role in the event by showcasing endorsed tourism operations and emphasizing the importance of local ownership in tourism ventures.
“We are charting a course for sustainable growth that ensures every Saint Lucian has a stake in the industry’s success. This Showcase and the Industry Insights Conference reaffirm our commitment to equipping local businesses to adapt, innovate and lead in this new era of tourism,” said Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire, Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information.
The event concluded with an Awards Gala on July 29, recognizing 12 travel partners for their contributions to Saint Lucia’s growth and international profile. Canadian award winners included:
- Air Canada Vacations was honoured as Top Growth Producing Traditional Canadian Tour Operator, Top Revenue Contribution Canadian Tour Operator, and Canadian Tour Operator with the Most Growth in Room Nights for 2024.
- Air Canada received the 50th Anniversary Award.
- WestJet Vacations was recognized for the Best Canadian Tour Operator Campaign Promoting Saint Lucia.
