Myrtle Beach is rolling out the welcome mat for Canadian travellers as the destination marks the return of Can-Am Days.

The 65th Annual Can-Am Days takes place March 13–22, 2026, continuing a tradition that has welcomed generations of Canadian snowbirds to South Carolina’s Myrtle Beach area for more than six decades.

The annual celebration includes a series of events and promotions aimed at Canadian visitors, including the North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on March 14 and the Run to the Sun Car Show from March 19–21.

“Myrtle Beach has long been a home away from home and beloved Southern getaway for countless snowbirds seeking a warm-weather retreat where they can explore sunny shores, world-class golf courses and an incredible range of family-friendly entertainment,” said Stuart Butler, President, Visit Myrtle Beach.

“We’re thrilled to continue this tradition and welcome our Canadian friends with exceptional deals and experiences designed to fit every budget.”

During Can-Am Days, Canadian travellers can access a variety of discounts across the destination. Participating resorts are offering up to 50% off standard U.S. lodging rates with valid Canadian identification, while attractions such as Ripley’s Aquarium and select golf courses are also extending savings to visitors who present a Canadian ID or a Canadian Automobile Association card.

Visit Myrtle Beach says the destination’s connection with Canadians has grown over more than 65 years, with many visitors returning annually to spend part of the winter season along the Grand Strand.
