Los Cabos Tourism Board has launched a new platform, making it easier and more fun to help your clients plan their perfect vacation.
Los Cabos, at the tip of the Baja peninsula, where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet is well known to Canadians for its fun vibes and beautiful natural scenery. Direct flights from Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal bring thousands of Canadians to the destination each year.
“We've seen 40 percent of our travellers become repeat visitors," says Los Cabos Tourism managing director Rodrigo Esponda. "Our goal moving forward is to maintain satisfaction levels while encouraging longer stays and higher spending." This new tool aims to help get travellers excited about their trip and to act as a “digital assistant” to advisors, providing a range of resources to discover activities, accommodations, and dining options in Los Cabos to easily create a customized itinerary for your clients.
The platform incorporates AI-powered tools, 360-degree virtual tours, interactive maps and customizable itineraries to simplify the process of exploring the destination's offerings.
"The AI-powered tool enables travelers to interact with the system and quickly pinpoint their specific interests," Esponda said. "When users start exploring things to do in Los Cabos, the click-through rate is 91%, showing how effectively it directs them to what they're looking for."
Major developments continue in Los Cabos that are exciting to the tourism board as well as to visitors. Looking ahead to 2025, there is the opening of the Park Hyatt and a new village at Cabo del Sol designed to integrate art, gastronomy, shopping and entertainment. Other high-profile projects, including Aman, St. Regis and Soho House properties, that are set to open by 2026.
