Destination Jamaica is rolling out a new weekly virtual event series aimed at keeping Canadian travel advisors informed as the island continues its recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa.
Launching December 2, Irie Hour: Road to Recovery will run every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EST.
The online sessions will be hosted via Zoom, with registration available through The Maple Leaf Room, Jamaica’s dedicated trade website for Canadian advisors.
Designed as a real-time briefing hub, each Irie Hour will include guest presentations from resort and attraction partners across the island. The inaugural session will consist of representatives from S Hotel Montego Bay, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, and Rose Hall Montego Bay, who will provide on-the-ground updates on their properties.
