Long one of Canada's favourite international destinations, Italy has dropped its test requirement for fully vaccinated visitors to enter the country.
International travellers are now only required to show they have been fully vaccinated within nine months of their arrival, or have received a booster shot in the case that their final dose was outside of that nine-month period.
Those not fully vaccinated can still show a negative rapid test taken within 48 hours of arrival in order to enter without quarantine.
There are still a few other requirements to meet All travellers must fill out the EU Digital Passenger Locator Form (PLF) prior to entering the country.
As well, visitors are still required to obtain a 'digital super green pass,' which will allow them to enter hotels, restaurants, and public transportation. Getting the pass requires proof of vaccination or proof of recovery from COVID.
