The Old Port of Montréal is feeling festive.

Transforming into a holiday hub on November 29, with the return of the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan, the stretch between the Montréal Science Centre and Mini-Putt Montréal will offer roaming elves, holiday music, and food trucks serving BeaverTails, churros, and wood-fired pizza.

Evenings between 5 and 7 p.m., the illuminated caravan will arrive, offering visitors the chance to meet Santa and drop off letters.

The Old Port will also host Grand Minuit, Montréal’s New Year’s Eve event, on December 31. According to a press release, the site will transform into a large festive space with music, fireworks, and a midnight countdown. The full event lineup will be announced on November 26.

This winter marks the expansion of Bota Bota spa-sur-l’eau, which will welcome a second boat.

Cercle polaire, an outdoor light installation by Coca-Cola, is running from November 7 to March 7. The display, inspired by northern landscapes and Arctic wildlife, highlights environmental pressures on polar ecosystems.

La Grande Roue de Montréal’s Christmas tree is illuminated every Saturday at 6 p.m. until December 27.

Winter music returns to Igloofest for its 18th edition, running from January 15 to February 7. Thrill-seekers can also experience Tyrolienne MTL Zipline until December 14.

  • BeaverTails returns on weekends, then will open every day from December 22 to January 4. Visitors can enjoy its signature pastries and hot chocolate at the King-Edward entrance
  • La Cabane à chichi, located in front of Hangar 16, will follow the same schedule as BeaverTails: open on weekends from November 15 to December 21, then daily from December 22 to January 4
