The Government of Antigua & Barbuda's National Covid-19 Vaccination Technical Working Group, has approved the mixing of the AstraZeneca vaccine with either Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or the mixing of a Moderna and a Pfizer vaccine.
As such, the Ministry of Health & the Environment states that visitors who have had mixed doses of vaccines as noted above, will be able to enter the country. Antigua & Barbuda are already welcoming fully vaccinated travellers who have received both doses of a World Health Organization (WHO) approved 2-dose Covid 19 vaccine.
"We are looking forward to welcoming all fully vaccinated Canadians to Antigua & Barbuda under these new and approved guidelines" said Colin James, CEO of the Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority.
Visitors to Antigua & Barbuda will be expected to observe Antigua & Barbuda's own travel protocols which the government updated on July 23, 2021 on their website. These are intended to ensure the continued safety of travellers and residents.
Should visitors have any questions, they may contact the Consulate via telephone: (416) 961-3143 or at the following emails: [email protected] or [email protected].
