Viking Launches August Sale with $25 Deposits

Viking is kicking off its August Sale with discounted fares and reduced deposits across its river, ocean, and expedition voyages.

From August 1–31, 2025, Viking is offering:

• River Cruises: All-inclusive journeys from $2,199, up to FREE international airfare with just a $25 deposit.
• Ocean Cruises: Special fares, reduced airfare, and a $25 deposit.
• Expeditions: Special fares, up to FREE international airfare, and a $25 deposit. 

“These offers span Viking’s award-winning ships,” the company said in an email. “Late-summer bookings may spark interest in 2026 departures, and build loyalty with guests seeking curated, culturally enriching travel.”
