Arriving in the summer of 2027 is Royal Caribbean's fourth Icon Class ship, setting sail from Miami: the Hero of the Seas.
The new family-centric ship will offer eight neighborhoods, the most pools at sea, 28 dining venues and cooking classes, new family raft slides and new accommodation styles for multigenerational families, including a three-story Ultimate Family Treehouse.
Bookings for the Hero of the Seas open for Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members on April 1, one day ahead of when bookings open to the general public. Hero of the Seas will sail 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages from Miami, including stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
"Icon Class truly set a new standard for family vacations, and Hero of the Seas takes that vision even further," said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean. "With more water, more thrills and more choices for all ages, we're continuing to build on what our guests love about Royal Caribbean and delivering the experiences families are looking for when vacationing together."
