Royal Caribbean is sharing more details about its forthcoming ship, Legend of the Seas.

Slated to launch in July 2026, the new vessel will have eight neighborhoods, dozens of dining options, new nightlife and entertainment offerings and more.

Legend of the Seas will debut in the summer of 2026 with seven-night Western Mediterranean sailings from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia). Then, in November 2026, the vessel will sail across the Atlantic to Fort Lauderdale and begin offering six-night Western Caribbean itineraries and eight-night Southern Caribbean voyages. Every Caribbean sailing also includes a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay.

“With Legend of the Seas, we are bringing to life our most legendary vacation yet as we continue to push the boundaries with more of what guests know and love,” says Michael Bayley, president and chief executive officer of Royal Caribbean. “Those looking to get the most out of their vacation can have it all with Legend’s combination of adventure-packed experiences and incredible destinations in Europe and the Caribbean.”

Travelers will have 28 dining options to choose from on Legend of the Seas. First introduced on Utopia of the Seas, Royal Railway – Legend Station will offer an immersive dining experience that combines food, entertainment and technology. Hollywoodland Supper Club is a new supper club concept inspired by the golden age of Hollywood. AquaDome Market food hall will also have five new all-day food stands and a brand-new juice and smoothie bar.

The ship will also have more than 20 bars and lounges, plus new entertainment offerings. Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” is making its debut at sea in the Royal Theater, bringing the magical world of Willy Wonka to life. Guests can also enjoy high divers, aerialists, robots and dancers in the AquaTheater and ice skaters at Absolute Zero, the largest ice arena at sea.

Legend of the Sea will have six waterslides at Category 6, the largest waterpark at sea, as well the Crown’s Edge skywalk/zipline experience. The ship will have an Adrenaline Peak rock climbing wall and mini golf at Lost Dunes, plus seven pools and 10 whirlpools.

The new vessel will also have a redesigned three-story Ultimate Family Townhouse, plus an ultra-luxe and exclusive Suite Neighborhood.

Legend of the Seas will be the company’s fourth ship fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and will feature industry-leading environmental programs, such as waste heat recovery systems to shore power connection.
