Royal Caribbean has added more functionality to its Espresso booking system, including the launch of FlexPay, a payment program for travel partners that offers clients more flexibility on how and when payments are made towards their cruise vacation.
FlexPay aims to offer convenience and time-savings when it comes to planning payments with clients and is fully customizable based on their schedule. Travel partners can now pre-schedule up to 10 automatic payments that can be arranged by date and amount. The system also can now accept more than one credit card.
FlexPay is just the latest automation tool implemented into Royal Caribbean's Espresso system. Over the last several months, the cruise line has launched a series of automation enhancements providing travel partners with the tools to maximize their time with clients and make these interactions more meaningful and personalized.
In addition to FlexPay, some of these enhancements include:
FCC Redemption Tool: Allows travel partners to redeem FCCs in three easy steps and check on the status of an FCC.
Insight: Through Insight, travel advisors can send personalized FCC reminder emails to clients
Latte: Described as a travel advisor's 'personal assistant,' Latte was enhanced to redeem FCCs and allow for multiple FCCs to be applied at once.
eQuote: This important marketing function helps create tailored quotes and generates leads
Testing & Requirements Tool: Launched in January 2022 to help travel advisors access and share directly with clients the current protocols for the guest's sailing date and itinerary. Clients receive a designed, customized email that includes the travel partner name and contact info.
Cruise Planner: Introduced in March 2022, this allows travel partners to explore the available offerings (i.e., shore excursions, dining options, beverage/dining packages, etc.) based on ship and sail date to better serve their clients
These automation tools are available for both Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity.
