Regent Seven Seas Cruises is expanding its bar and beverage offerings with several new concepts aboard Seven Seas Prestige, which is scheduled to debut in December.
The new venues and menus include an Italian-inspired aperitivo bar, Mediterranean-influenced cocktails and a selection of zero-proof drinks, adding new beverage options across the ship.
“Seven Seas Prestige represents an exciting evolution for Regent, and that same innovative vision extends to every aspect of the guest experience, including our bars, lounges, and beverage offerings,” says Wesley D'Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
At the new Galileo’s Bar, the beverage program draws on the Italian tradition of aperitivo and the spirit of exploration associated with the venue’s namesake. Its Negroni Observatory features variations on the classic Italian cocktail, including the Comet Negroni, made with Italicus, Beefeater Gin and Noilly Prat Vermouth, and the Astronomer's Negroni, which combines mezcal, Beefeater Gin and Cocchi Storico Vermouth di Torino.
The bar also will serve cocktails such as the Dark Matter Espresso Martini, made with Amaro Montenegro, vodka and espresso, and the Jupiter's Garden, which combines gin, Frangelico and fresh basil. A zero-proof option, the Orbit Zero Espresso Martini, uses Lyre’s Dark Cane and Lyre’s Amaretti with espresso.
At Azure, the beverage program is designed to complement the restaurant’s Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. The menu includes herbal cocktails, citrus-forward spritzes and regional wines, along with infused waters featuring cucumber, lemon, orange or pomegranate.
Cocktails include the Monastery Sour, made with Bénédictine, brandy, lemon juice and thyme syrup, and the Provence Bloom, which combines elderflower liqueur, lavender syrup, lemon juice, peach purée, gin and tonic water.
Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose will offer wines, cocktails and zero-proof drinks designed for outdoor dining. Its cocktail menu includes the Pearl of the Riviera, made with Grey Goose La Poire, Cocchi Americano, Luxardo Aperitivo and Prosecco, and the Mediterranean Paloma, combining blanco tequila, pink grapefruit, rosemary honey and soda water.
Zero-proof options include the Orchard Fizz, made with apple juice, lemon and rosemary, and the Dark 'n Spicy, which combines Lyre’s Spiced Cane Spirit, lime juice, ginger beer and sugar-free vanilla syrup.
Seven Seas Prestige also will feature several existing Regent bar and lounge concepts, including the Prestige Lounge, Meridian Lounge, Observation Lounge, Connoisseur Lounge, Casino, Pool Bar and Coffee Connection. Cocktails, wines and spirits also will be available throughout the ship’s restaurants.
The ship’s beverage lineup will also include a signature Seven Seas Prestige cocktail, joining the ship-specific cocktails Regent offers across its fleet. The drink combines Patrón Silver Tequila, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, lime juice, egg white, agave syrup and grapefruit or orange bitters, and is finished with a dehydrated lime wheel and Himalayan salt.
