Norwegian Cruise Line is closing two Broadway musical adaptations from its fleet.
"Jersey Boys" will take its final bow onboard the Norwegian Bliss on February 8, 2026, during a seven-day cruise from Los Angeles, while "Beetlejuice" concludes its run on the Norwegian Viva March 21, 2026, on a sailing from Galveston, Texas.
The closures are part of NCL's "multi-year initiative" to refresh its entertainment offerings with original programming. The cruise line plans to expand existing shows such as "Choir of Man" and "Syd Norman's Presents: Rumours" across more ships.

"Jersey Boys" has entertained guests since its launch on the Norwegian Bliss in 2018, while "Beetlejuice" debuted with Norwegian Viva in 2023. This continues a trend of NCL phasing out Broadway adaptations, having previously ended productions including "Summer: The Donna Summer Musical," "Six," "Footloose" and "Kinky Boots.
NCL noted in a statement that its focus is on delivering quality theater alongside enhanced daily activities throughout guests' cruises.
"Our team is focused not only on delivering high-quality theater productions … but also more robust daily activities for guests to enjoy throughout their NCL cruise," said an NCL spokesperson.
