Norwegian Cruise Line has opened bookings for two inaugural
Mediterranean sailings aboard Norwegian Aura, its newest and largest ship, with the first
voyage scheduled to depart May 2, 2027.
The new itineraries follow Norwegian Aura’s anticipated
early delivery and will allow passengers to experience the cruise line’s newest
ship before it begins Caribbean cruises from Miami.
The first sailing is a 10-day voyage departing Trieste,
Italy, for Athens, Greece, with stops in Croatia’s Dubrovnik and Split, Bar in
Montenegro, and the Greek islands of Corfu, Santorini, and Mykonos.
The second sailing will be nine days and depart Athens on
May 12, 2027, returning to Trieste, with stops in Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini,
and Corfu in Greece; Bar in Montenegro; and Split and Zadar in Croatia.
Following the inaugural voyages, Norwegian Aura will sail a
seven-day Mediterranean itinerary before crossing the Atlantic to Miami.
The vessel will then operate seven-day Eastern Caribbean
cruises from June through October 2027, followed by Western Caribbean
itineraries in winter 2027-28.
For families taking to the seas, Norwegian Aura will feature Ocean Heights, a multilevel
outdoor activity complex with waterslides, a ropes course, an obstacle course,
and carnival-style games.
