MSC Cruises is sharing more details about the beach destination it’s developing on Catalina Island in the Dominican Republic.
In April, the company revealed that it was partnering with Casa de Campo Resort & Villas to develop upgraded facilities and a more seamless beach experience for guests sailing from La Romana.
Now, the company has decided on a name: Catalina Sugar Beach. Set to open in November, when MSC Cruises starts weekly seven-night sailings from La Romana, the destination will be operated in partnership with CTL Maritime and Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. It will welcome guests from MSC Cruises, Explora Journeys, other cruise lines and those staying at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas.
