HX Expeditions Celebrates First-Ever Turnaround in Nuuk, Greenland

HX Expeditions is celebrating a major milestone.

Last week, the company made its first-ever turnaround in Nuuk, Greenland, with the arrival of the vessel MS Fridtjof Nansen.

To commemorate the moment, HX hosted a cultural celebration at KATUAQ, with special guests including Qupanuk Olsen (“Q’s Greenland”) and fashion designer Nickie Isaksen.

More than 500 HX guests flew with Air Greenland to and from Nuuk, Copenhagen and Reykjaví over the course of 24 hours, setting a new record in the process.

It marks the largest ever number of guests from a single partner that Air Greenland and the Nuuk airport have had in one day.

HX has a partnership with Air Greenland to fly guests to the newly opened airport for its expedition cruises.
