The Supplier Meeting That Did Not Feel Like a Meeting
Belvin Baldwin II
As the Iran war rages on, Explora Journeys is scrapping upcoming Middle East voyages for EXPLORA II.
The ship was originally scheduled to sail in the region from November 2026 to March 2027. Instead, the line announced today that it will operate exclusively in the Mediterranean during that period.
The cruises will visit destinations across the Western Mediterranean and North Africa, from Funchal, Portugal, to Casablanca, Morocco, to Ibiza, Spain. Further details will be announced at the end of the month.
Explora Journeys will contact guests with affected reservations or their travel advisors.
“This decision has been taken well in advance, following careful consideration and reflecting Explora Journeys’ commitment to providing guests and travel advisors with clarity and confidence as they plan their future journeys,” according to a statement.
