EXPLORA III Makes Maiden Call in Québec City

Explora Journeys’ newest ship, EXPLORA III, has made its maiden call in Québec City.

The third ship in the Explora Journeys fleet, EXPLORA III marks the halfway point in the cruise line’s plan to operate six ships by 2028. It is also the company’s first LNG-powered vessel.

The ship’s first visit to Québec City was marked with a traditional Crest Exchange Ceremony between EXPLORA III’s leadership team and representatives of the Port of Québec.

Travel advisors from across the region were invited aboard during the call to tour the ship and learn more about its accommodations, dining, wellness facilities and onboard experience.

She builds upon the success of EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II, while introducing new experiences and enhancements that further elevate our approach to ultra-elegant ocean travel. We are delighted to celebrate her first visit to Québec City and welcome guests to discover this remarkable destination through the Ocean State of Mind," said Chris Austin, President, North America, Explora Journeys.

EXPLORA III is the largest ship in the Explora Journeys fleet and features oceanfront suites, expanded public spaces, additional dining venues and wellness facilities.

The Québec City call comes as the ship continues its inaugural season in North America. Following its Canadian and U.S. East Coast itineraries, EXPLORA III will head to Miami for its first Caribbean season.
