Camila and Matthew McConaughey will be the godparents of Princess Cruises’ newest ship, Star Princess.
“With Princess, it’s not just a vacation—it’s time well spent, families and friends coming together, meeting new folks and making memories,” said Camila and Matthew McConaughey in a statement. “This ship’s got that spirit built right in, and we’re proud to be part of her story from the beginning.”
Camila and Matthew McConaughey, co-founders of Pantalones Organic Tequila, join other Princess godparents, including Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren.
Princess serves cocktails featuring their Pantalones Organic Tequila across the fleet, including the popular 24K Gold Margarita. Their tequila is also part of Princess’ Love Line Premium Liquors collection.
On October 4, the 4,300-guest Star Princess will sail roundtrip from Barcelona before crossing the Atlantic Ocean. On November 7, the vessel will begin a season of Caribbean voyages from Fort Lauderdale. After her Caribbean season, the ship will sail through the Panama Canal to begin her inaugural Alaska Season.
