Bookings are now open for Holland America Line’s 2027 Canada and New England season.

Holland America Line will have two ships sailing in the region—Volendam and Zuiderdam—from May to October. Together, the vessels will offer 20 departures of 13 itineraries, with trips ranging from seven to 14 days. Nearly every itinerary includes scenic cruising of the St. Lawrence River and calls at Montréal or Québec City, Québec, Canada.

For a limited time, guests who book early can enjoy the Have It All premium package, which includes shore excursions, specialty dining, a signature beverage package, basic Wi-Fi, crew gratuity and free upgrades to the elite beverage package and premium Wi-Fi.

“Our Canada and New England itineraries are designed to showcase the wonders of the region—from its breathtaking national parks and storied lighthouses to its rich French heritage,” says Paul Grigsby, vice president of deployment and itinerary planning for Holland America Line. “Guests can experience magnificent French culture without ever leaving North America, all while enjoying a front-row seat to the stunning fall foliage that makes this part of the world unforgettable.”

The new nine-day “Lighthouses & Harbors of Canada and New England” itinerary aboard Volendam, for instance, will depart October 2, 2027, and sail from Montréal to New York City. Along the way, travelers will have a chance to visit up to 10 lighthouses and participate in 22 shore excursions, with stops in ports like Halifax, Nova Scotia; Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; and Bar Harbor, Maine.

Another highlight is the 10-day “Canada & New England Circle: New France and Montreal” itinerary, which sails round trip from Montréal. It will take guests to Québec City; Saguenay, Québec; Prince Edward Island; St. Pierre; and St. John’s, Newfoundland. The 11-day “Canada & New England Circle: Maritimes and New France” itinerary, meanwhile, includes visits to five national parks as it sails from Montréal to Boston.

Onboard the ships, guests can enjoy regional dishes like Maine lobster, PEI mussels and Boston baked beans. Guests can also indulge in a poutine bar, Boston cream pie, along with New England steak and clam chowder on embarkation day. And, when departing Québec, guests can attend a locally inspired cheese and wine celebration.
