Air Canada Vacations has announced that members can now redeem Aeroplan points for cruise vacations directly through aircanadavacations.com.
The new option covers more than 100 cruise itineraries departing from ports including Fort Lauderdale, Hawaii, Mexico, Barcelona, Venice, Athens, Rome, Lisbon, London, and Nice, with new destinations such as Naples and river cruises in Porto and Prague also available.

“We’re thrilled to be able to bring Aeroplan Members one step closer to their next cruise vacation,” said Nino Montagnese, VP at Air Canada Vacations.

In addition to cruises, Aeroplan Members can already redeem points for vacation packages, flight and hotel bundles, and tours. They also earn Aeroplan points on the flight portion of their trip and can collect up to 20,000 bonus points on select Air Canada Vacations packages to destinations across Mexico, the Caribbean, the U.S., Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America.
Scott O'Leary, VP, Loyalty and Product at Air Canada, said the new redemption option adds more flexibility for travellers.
