Corporate travel management company Plus Travel Group, based in Greater Toronto has been acquired by global travel management giant Talma Travel Solutions. This marks the U.K.-based Talma’s first foray into the Canadian market and helps cement its footing in North America.
The announcement of the deal indicates that the acquisition represents an opportunity for Plus Travel to build on its longstanding commitment to personalized service while expanding the resources and global reach available to its clients. Jeffrey Verman, CEO of Plus Travel Group, will continue to lead the company following the acquisition.
“From the beginning, our goal has been to deliver exceptional personal service, provide value that goes well beyond the booking itself, and stay ahead of the curve by leveraging the best technology available in our industry,” says Verman. “Our partnership with Talma Travel Solutions marks an exciting new chapter for our team and our clients. It strengthens our global reach, enhances our collective buying power, and expands the solutions and resources we can offer, while creating new opportunities for continued growth.”
Talma Travel Solutions CEO Iya Magen says that the investment in Plus Travel Group marks an important milestone in its global growth strategy. “Over the past four years, we have made a series of strategic investments and acquisitions across travel services and technology, building a stronger global platform and positioning Talma to set a new standard for the customer experience,” says Magen. “Plus Travel Group shares our commitment to exceptional client service, proactive account management, and innovative technology. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and delighted to welcome the Plus Travel Group team and clients to the wider Talma family.”
