WestJet has announced a seven-year extension of its partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays, continuing as the team’s Official Airline through 2032.
The two Canadian brands first teamed up in 2012, with WestJet establishing the well-known WestJet Flight Deck at Rogers Centre and TD Ballpark in Florida, and supporting Jays Care Foundation through its Gift of Flight program.
“The renewal of our longstanding partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays reinforces our commitment to investing in meaningful travel experiences for Canadians,” said John Weatherill, WestJet EVP and chief commercial officer.
“As we continue working to bring guests closer to the people and places they love the most, this partnership brings together two iconic Canadian brands and makes it easier for fans across the country to cheer on Canada’s team.”
Under the renewed agreement, WestJet’s branding will continue to appear prominently throughout Rogers Centre and during broadcasts. Fans can expect to see the airline featured on the WestJet Flight Deck, behind home plate, and during Spring Training at TD Ballpark in Dunedin, Florida.
WestJet will also continue its fan engagement initiatives, including in-game promotions, contests, and exclusive offers for WestJet Rewards Members.
With flights connecting Toronto to more than 21 destinations in Canada and the U.S., WestJet said it aims to make it easier for fans nationwide to follow the team.
“We are thrilled to renew our partnership with WestJet today for another seven years as we continue working together to bring Blue Jays fans from across Canada closer to the game they love,” said Mark Ditmars, Toronto Blue Jays VP, Partnerships.
In celebration of the Blue Jays’ 50th season and WestJet’s 30th anniversary in 2026, both organizations teased “something exciting” for fans to look forward to—possibly visible in the skies.
