WestJet is expanding its sun destinations with new seasonal service to Tulum and Grenada as well as new flights to Fort Lauderdale from Vancouver and Winnipeg this winter season. WestJet will also add once-weekly seasonal service from Kelowna to Mazatlán and Winnipeg to Los Cabos.
"Our strategy to establish the WestJet Group as Canada's western leader and national leisure champion is working, as we continue to offer the most robust and affordable coast-to-coast schedule, fine-tuned to meet the needs of Canadian travellers," said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer.
"Cementing our position as the country's leading leisure airline, the WestJet Group will provide more seat capacity than any other airline to sun destinations this winter."
WestJet is already servicing Tulum from Calgary and Toronto, and with the new schedule will offer packages to 35 major hotels close to TQO (Aeropuerto Internacional de Tulum Felipe Carillo).
Calgary-Tulum will be 1x weekly starting November 9, 2024 through April 27, 2025
Toronto-Tulum will be 3x weekly starting November 9, 2024 through April 27, 2025
Kelowna-Mazatlán will be 1x weekly starting December 13, 2024 through April 18, 2025
Winnipeg-Los Cabos will be 1x weekly starting November 9, 2024 through April 26, 2025

The new Toronto Grenada route will be 1x weekly starting November 3, 2024 through April 27, 2025.
The once weekly Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale service will start November 3rd 2024 through April 20, 2025 and Winnipeg to Fort Lauderdale will start November 18, 2024 through April 21, 2025.
