Porter Airlines is adding two new Ontario routes out of Ottawa International Airport (YOW), launching daily non-stop flights to Windsor, Ontario (YQG) and Sudbury, Ontario (YSB).“Today's launch of Windsor and Sudbury service is the next step in building Ottawa into a stronger hub for Porter. Travellers have non-stop access to the nation’s capital and to an increasing number of connecting flights across the country,” said Andrew Pierce, VP, Network Planning and Reporting, Porter Airlines.Schedule highlights (all times local)Ottawa–Windsor: 2:00 p.m. – 3:46 p.m.Windsor–Ottawa: 4:30 p.m. – 6:10 p.m.Ottawa–Sudbury: 2:25 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.Sudbury–Ottawa: 4:10 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.The expansion builds on Porter’s growing presence in Ottawa, where the airline says it will operate more flights this summer than any other carrier. From the capital, travellers can connect across Porter’s domestic network, including Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, St. John’s, Halifax, Moncton, Fredericton and Charlottetown, with additional connections to the U.S. and Mexico.Onboard, Porter offers no middle seats, complimentary beer and wine served in glassware, and premium snacks.
