Flair Airlines is adding a new domestic route, announcing the "first-ever" nonstop commercial air service between Edmonton, Alberta, and Saint John, New Brunswick.
The twice-weekly flights between Edmonton International Airport (YEG) and Saint John Airport (YSJ) will launch June 15, 2027.
According to Flair, Saint John is one of Edmonton's largest Atlantic Canadian air travel markets, with most passengers currently travelling through Toronto. The new route will eliminate the need for that connection.
"Canada has so much to discover, and we want more Canadians to have the opportunity to experience it," said Len Corrado, CEO of Flair Airlines.
"We're proud to be the first airline to connect Edmonton and Saint John nonstop, bringing two great Canadian cities closer together. Whether it's visiting family, exploring somewhere new or making an important business connection, we're giving Canadians more opportunities to spend time in the places and with the people who matter most."
Flights go on sale October 15, 2026, at flyflair.com, with limited-time introductory one-way fares starting at CAD$199 in both directions.
"This is an exciting milestone for Saint John and our region," said Court Edeburn, President and CEO of Saint John Airport.
"Direct access to Edmonton opens new opportunities for tourism, business and families travelling between Atlantic and Western Canada. We're delighted to welcome Flair and look forward to seeing the benefits this new connection brings to our communities."
