Discover Airlines Lands in Calgary from Munich

Folks at Calgary International Airport (YYC) will soon be seeing the Discover Airlines livery a little more often as it takes off from Cowtown to Munich (MUC). 

Discover, a subsidiary of Lufthansa also operates a Calgary-Frankfurt (FRA) route that runs up to seven times a week.

The Munich route will operate three times a week on an Airbus A330. This route was introduced with two other intercontinental routes from Munich, to Orlando and Windhoek, Namibia. 

The new routes mean Discover is now flying its fleet of eight aircraft to a total of 32 holiday destinations on 80 scheduled flights per week.
