CBSA Kiosk Outages Resolved

Outages at immigration kiosks in Calgary, Montreal and Toronto caused mass delays at three of Canada’s busiest airports, but had mainly been cleared as of Monday, Sept. 29.

The CBSA self-service kiosks help streamline entry into Canada. Without them to aid the process, customs and immigration quickly reached capacity.

WestJet reported it was pausing deplaning at Toronto Pearson and holding passengers on planes to avoid overwhelming customs.

The outages have now been resolved and lingering delays cleared. As always, travellers are advised to check on their flight status with the airline before they travel.
