Porter Airlines has appointed Carlo Rinaldi as Director of Quebec Market Development. Based in Montreal, he will be responsible for the company's business strategy in the province, with a focus on growing corporate travel, developing partner agencies, and strengthening relationships with all stakeholders in the travel industry.
Rinaldi has over 20 years of experience in corporate sales, business development, and travel industry partnerships, including a decade with Porter.
"Quebec is a unique and relationship-driven market, and I am excited to join Porter at a time of significant growth," he said. "This is an excellent opportunity to leverage Porter's highly valued passenger experience and increase our relevance to corporate clients, travel advisors, and partners across the province. I look forward to reconnecting with the market and contributing to Porter's next phase of growth in Quebec." “Montreal has been an integral part of Porter’s strategy since the company began serving the city from Trudeau International Airport when it was founded in 2006. With the opening of Montreal Metropolitan Airport on June 15, Porter will increase its capacity by 91% during the summer peak season in the region, with the launch of 12 new routes across Canada.”
