All-Female Flights Soar at Sunwing for IWD

Sunwing Airlines celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th with two all-female flights. The flights, from Toronto to Montego Bay (with Capt. Janice MacSween, First Officer Lexi Tibbetts, Cabin Safety Manager Stephanie Bourgeois, and flight attendants Sabrina Baribeau , Stephanie Tatiana Kraner and Darya Soufian Abdollahi) and Montreal to Cancun (with Cpt. Jessica Kessler, First OfficerTridha Aravind, Cabin Safety Manager Kim Arcand Beaudoin, and flight attendants Helene Cormier, Maria Ostrowska and Louise Malo) were meant to demonstrate Sunwing’s dedication and ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) while celebrating women in aviation.

The overarching themes of #AccelerateAction and “Moving Forward Together – Women Educating and Inspiring Generations” highlight the incredible contributions of women dedicated to leadership, education and mentorship – principles that are at the heart of our values here at Sunwing Airlines – as well as the work to be done to continue this progress,” says First Officer Jessalyn Teed. “It has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside these women, learn from them, and honour them and the role they play on a daily basis. We celebrate the incredible women who soar above and beyond with professionalism and passion, as their strength, dedication and leadership inspire us all to reach new heights.”
