Air Transat has launched non-stop flights between Montreal and Agadir, becoming the only airline to offer direct service between North America and the coastal Moroccan city.The inaugural flight, TS492, departed on June 12. The seasonal route will operate once weekly on Fridays through Oct. 23, 2026.Agadir becomes Air Transat's second destination in Morocco from Montreal, joining Marrakech. “The launch of this route to Agadir reflects our ambition to strengthen exclusive access to Morocco and expand our presence across the African continent,” said Sébastien Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer at Transat. “It responds to strong and growing demand while supporting both tourism development and closer ties between communities in Canada and Morocco.”Flights are operated with the Airbus A321LR, which offers both Economy Class and Club Class cabins.
