Air Canada has implemented a Goodwill Policy to provide flexible rebooking options for passengers affected by planned industrial action in Belgium on March 12, 2026.

The policy applies to all itineraries originating from Brussels Airport (BRU) on ticket stock 014, issued on or before February 13, 2026, for travel on March 12, 2026.

Under the policy, pax are permitted one free change up to two hours before departure.

Rebooking is allowed between March 11 and March 19, 2026 on flights operated by Air Canada (AC), United Airlines (UA) and the Lufthansa Group (LHG), in any booking class within the same cabin as originally ticketed.

Change fees are waived both within and outside the rebooking window.

For changes made within the rebooking window, fare differences (ADCL) are also waived.

Outside the rebooking window, standard fare rules apply to additional collection (ADCOL).

Passengers can also opt to change their origin or destination to an alternate Air Canada destination. In this case, the change fee will be waived, but any fare difference will apply.

For call centres and travel agencies processing ticket exchanges through a GDS, the endorsement code is ACABRUFEB26.

The airline says the endorsement is not required for tickets issued via NDC, AC Connex or ADO.

For Aeroplan bookings, customers are advised to contact Aeroplan directly using the Aeroplan Schedule Change phone number listed under Aeroplan Contacts.

Air Canada notes that for itineraries involving a flight cancellation, standard Schedule Change or Flight Disruption Policy procedures should be followed.

The industrial action is expected to impact operations at Brussels Airport on March 12, and travellers are advised to monitor their flight status closely.
