Air Canada Waives Change and Standard Seat Fees for Limited Period

Air Canada is temporarily pausing its change fee and standard seat selection fee for new bookings made between August 27 and September 12, 2025.

The airline said the waiver applies to all new Air Canada (014) tickets issued during this period. Passengers can make one free change within the ticket’s validity for fare types that permit changes, with applicable ADCOL charges.

In addition, the standard seat selection fee is waived on Air Canada-operated flights, including AC, RV, QK, and PB, for all fare types. 

Passengers must select their seats by September 12, 2025.

For bookings that require manual processing, Air Canada instructs travel agents to use the endorsement code: ACAPAUAUG.
