Air Canada Reaches Tentative Agreement with Union

Air Canada has reached a tentative agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) union, which represents more than 11,000 Technical Operations, Airports and Cargo and Logistics and Supply employees at Air Canada. 

The airline, which has faced several union negotiations this past year, says the proposed contract “recognizes the contributions and skills of Air Canada’s employees.”

If accepted by union members, the contract will be in force for four years, retroactively taking effect April 1, 2026 until March 31, 2030.

The agreement is presently being put before the union members, ratification is expected to be confirmed within the next few days.
