As the conflict in the Middle East continues, Air Canada has extended the flexible rebooking policy it introduced earlier this month.
Passengers who have booked tickets before March 16 for travel between April 1, 2026, and Sept. 7, 2026 may change their flights once and change fees will be waived. This applies to routes into or out of:
- Beirut (BEY)
- Amman (AMM)
- Jeddah (JED)
- Tehran (IKA)
- Riyadh (RUH)
- Kuwait (KWI)
- Doha (DOH)
- Dammam (DMM)
- Bahrain (BAH)
- Abu Dhabi (AUH)
- Medina (MED)
- Erbil (EBL)
- Damascus (DAM)
- Baghdad (BGW)
- Basra (BSR)
Passengers may choose to travel to an alternate Air Canada destination with change fee and ADCOL waived if choosing to rebook to Europe (including UK), India or Africa. All flights must be operated by Air Canada in the same cabin as originally booked.
Meanwhile, passengers with tickets purchased before March 16, 2026 for travel to Dubai (DXB) or Tel Aviv (TLV) for travel between May 1, 2026, and Sept. 7, 2026 can rebook without change fees for travel between Sept. 8, 2026 and Dec. 15, 2026, or change their destination to a different Air Canada destination in Europe (including UK) India or Africa in the same cabin as originally booked, for travel between May 1, 2026, and Dec. 15, 2026.
Customers can also cancel and retain tickets as Future Travel Credit or refund on AC Wallet, change fee waived (including basic fares) or receive a refund according to their fare rules.
