Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations are the title sponsors for this year's YellowBird Charity Golf Classic. The tournament will take place on May 17 at Oakville, Ontario’s Glen Abbey Golf Club.
This will mark the 24th year that the YellowBird Foundation will host its charity golf classic at Glen Abbey Golf Club. Funds raised will support those suffering in Ukraine as well as those fighting poverty in tourist destinations with lower living standards than enjoyed in Canada.

“Air Canada is proud to partner once again with The YellowBird Foundation for this year’s tournament, said Lisa Pierce, VP Air Canada Global Sales & Air Canada Vacations.
“This is an event that we are very excited to sponsor as our shared values perfectly align with The YellowBird Foundation in helping children and fighting poverty.”
ACV Vice President Nino Montagnese added: “Supporting our communities both here and abroad remains a priority for Air Canada Vacations, and we are proud to partner with The YellowBird Foundation to advance their mission of helping to improve the lives of those living in disadvantaged communities in tourist destinations across the globe. As guests in these countries, we have an obligation to give back and share our commitment to global citizenship.”

A website has been launched again this year, where industry members can purchase tickets, foursomes, sponsorship packages, donate gift baskets and bid on auction items.
Along with the online auction, the tournament will offer an in-person 50/50 draw, as well as a gift basket raffle for attendees. Those unable to attend the tournament are encouraged to donate a raffle prize/gift basket, item for the online auction, or make a donation to support the cause.
