Calling All Retail Travel Professionals! Voting for the 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards is now LIVE!
The 2024 TravelPulse Canada Readers’ Choice Awards will see thousands of travel agents across the country cast their votes for Canada’s best travel suppliers, including airlines, tourist boards, travel insurance companies, hotel chains, tour operators and more.
“When we first came up with the concept of doing a live gala event celebrating the Canadian Travel Industry, we were shocked to realize that there had never been a full blown, live in person, gala celebrating our industry before," said John Kirk, Founder and Editor in Chief of TravelPulse Canada.
"Now we are so proud of our industry and what we have built together. This event is blocked off on everyone’s calendar one year in advance. I love it, I really do, it’s like a big house party where everybody knows everybody. It’s such a great evening. What is really cool is you don’t have to miss out on the fun if you can't be there in person. You can get glammed up, grab a drink and watch the event live anywhere in Canada, the world I suppose, with our live stream.

This year the 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards will take place, Thursday, May 16th at Hotel X in Toronto. You are invited to join in the fun and vote for your favourite supplier as they strive to be chosen as the best of the best.
The entire voting process from start to finish will only take four to five minutes. It's easy to show your love to your favourite BDMs, tour operators, hotels and resorts, airlines and everyone in between. Don’t let them down.. get out and vote!

A few new categories added this year. After reviewing feedback last year, we have made a few tweaks to the various categories including but not limited to those listed below:

- Social Media Superstar – Supplier
- Most Influential Travel Advisor – By region - Individual who champions the career of a Travel Advisor through community engagement, social media advocacy and more.
- Best GDS platform
- Best Economy Seat Experience – Canada
The category winners will be announced during the event on May 16th, which will also see three new members inducted into the prestigious Canadian Travel Hall of Fame. Standby for details on this next week.

“Given the number of returning sponsor we have onboard for the event this year, plus our new supporters, Los Cabos, and Globus it is pretty evident how important this annual event has become to the entire Canadian Travel Industry from coast to coast in Canada," said Kirk.
"It was a big decision to move over to Hotel X, but it was the right one. As incredible as it is, we are completed sold out of any sponsorship opportunities and tables. We have a handful of individual tickets available still. How much bigger can this event get!"
