Cuba Tourist Board is offering travel advisors the opportunity to take part in two special FAM groups that are running from October 17th to October 24th, 2023 departing from YYZ.
FAM group # 1: “Hidden Gems of Eastern Cuba, including: Holguin, Bayamo, Santiago de Cuba and Baracoa”.
On this itinerary, travel agents can learn more about these off the beaten path cities and be able to offer new alternatives for their clients, especially to those Canadians that “been there, done that” and they are seeking for new experiences and new adventures.
Highlights of the program include visits to World Heritage sites, a chance to immerse in Cuba’s history and rich culture and partake in thrilling adventures at “La Gran Piedra” National Park, excursion to Yumuri river and tour of Baracoa, which is the oldest colonial city in Cuba and a perfect place to unwind and marvel at the breathtaking outdoors.
FAM group# 2: “Explore the stunning new destinations of Paredon Grande & Cayo Cruz, combined with the colonial beauty of Trinidad.”
This group will sightsee the recently opened islands of Cayo Paredon Grande and Cayo Cruz with their modern infrastructure , visit the charming town of Trinidad with its cobblestone streets and its grand colonial buildings and participate at “Destinos Gaviota” a fun filled conference organized by Gaviota Group, designed to welcome tour operators and retailers to showcase Gaviotas hotel group products.
Highlights of the program include a chance to explore these two islands with scenic ocean views along the way; their pristine beaches that seem to go on forever and a catamaran cruise to Media Luna Key; a visit to Trinidad and “The Valley of Sugar Mills” (both World heritage Sites) and attend activities featured in “Destinos Gaviota” program.
Travel advisors in this group will experience firsthand the beauty of these two new destinations with its modern facilities, its glorious sunsets, the purest blue water in the Caribbean and the peace and quiet that it’s hard to find anywhere else.
