Morocco A New Destination As African Travel Inc. Launches 2024 Brochure
Spending the Holidays in Puerto Vallarta
A milestone in the Canadian travel industry happened Friday night in Punta Cana, as The Travel Agent Next Door announced their Partner Incentive Program. The profit sharing program is making their first payout of $25,000 to its agents.
Founder Flemming Friisdahl made the announcement on stage with Penny Martin, VP Agent Experience at the gala dinner event packed with 140 agents at the Majestic Colonial resort.
It is the first time in Canadian history that a host agency has paid out an incentive payout to agents.
"Our incentive for payout is, to my knowledge, the first time in Canadian history that any host agency is paying out an incentive plan," said Flemming Friisdahl, Founder, The Travel Agent Next Door. "We're very excited about it."
Every time an agent sells a preferred supplier or an approved supplier, TTAND tracks the commission between preferred and approved. For 70% of commission earned, before the split (with home based agents commission is split) agents are part of the Partner Incentive Program. Agents were told to check their emails after the gala for their tracking reports.
The night also featured an awards ceremony honoring the company's top agents which are based on an average versus a total number of sales.
Stay tuned to TravelPulse Canada Monday for a full on-the-ground award gala roundup - and a slideshow of some pretty rockin' agents.
