TRAVELSAVERS Canada celebrated its top earning travel advisors aboard an Explora Journeys ship in the Mediterranean last week.
The select group sailed from Istanbul to Athens, Aug. 23-29, exploring the cultures of two in-demand countries for the company’s Elite Retreat.
“The Elite Retreat is such a special event,” said Jane Clementino, Senior Vice President and General Manager of TRAVELSAVERS Canada. “It’s about recognizing the incredible success of our Canadian travel advisors while also investing in their continued growth. We’re immersing them in unique, high-value travel experiences and emerging opportunities so they can return home inspired, informed, and ready to deliver even greater value to their clients.”
The advisors were able to learn first hand about each port they visited. Stops included Syros, Paros and Bodrum, each with rich history, archeological wonders and charming scenery.
In Rhodes, the advisors met Georgios Chatzimarkos, governor of the South Aegean region of Greece and visited the ancient acropolis and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Medieval Town.
When not on tour, the advisors got to deepen their connections during 1:1 meetings, breakout sessions, tours, cocktail parties, private performances with guest entertainers, and evening dining rotations on EXPLORA I.
