ACTA's Toronto Summit will feature Sandals Executive VP Gary Sadler along with Visit Portugal's new Canadian director, Ines Almeida Garret, who will speak at all three summits.
In a session titled 'The Future of Travel is Bright!' ACTA will welcome Sadler, who will share his insights about travel industry trends, key success factors and opportunities on how travel agencies and travel agents can maximize their future.
As well, travel advisors are invited to meet the new Canadian Director for Visit Portugal, Ines Almeida Garret. She arrived in Canada in April and says she is looking forward to meeting Canadian travel agents at the ACTA summits.
Garret will share why Portugal is an attractive destination for the Canadian traveller, with its history and culture, gastronomy and wines, beaches, surfing, music festivals, great weather and, above all, the welcoming Portuguese people.
ACTA's September Summit will include a Grand Trade Show with over 50 exhibitors already confirmed. The trade show will feature the most up to date product information from top destinations, along with airlines, tour operators, cruise lines and ground transportation exhibitors.
Travel Agents are invited to join ACTA for the day on September 14 in Toronto, September 20 in Richmond BC and September 28 in Laval QC. The summits are complimentary for ACTA members. Non-member travel agents are asked to consider making a contribution to ACTA's Advocacy Fund.
Registration includes access to the full-day Summit and trade show, with plated lunch and networking reception with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. To learn more and to register for the event, click here.
