Rod Hanna, Majestic Resorts new BDM, is hitting the road with his colleagues in his efforts to personally connect with and educate agents about new product, across Ontario.
Wednesday night saw about 20 local agents in Grimsby gather over a drink and some snacks at Station 1 Coffeehouse for the event hosted alongside friends and colleagues: Juan Carlos Ruiz (Sandos Resorts) Jacqueline Murray Stubbs (Casa de Campo) and Jennifer Zammit (Rocky Mountaineer).
Agents were able to sit down with suppliers and learn updates in an more intimate setting than traditional, larger events.
Their reaction was very positive, with many so happy to have had the opportunity to connect in person.
"It's been a great afternoon at station one very personal very intimate at few of the suppliers that rod set this event up that and we're happy to be here we do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much." - Mike Gate, at Planet Travel hosted by TTAND.
Cynthia Davidson of Beaches and Beyond also hosted by TTAND agreed.
"We have spent the afternoon here or just a few hours actually at station one coffee house in Grimsby with four different suppliers and it has been absolutely wonderful, great setting to really get to know the suppliers one on one. It's just a really wonderful little event and not too many suppliers either which is really nice to see you have the time to spend with them and really get to know them."
Danuela Freel of Four Point Travel was also very thankful for the event.
"I want to say thank you so much for the event today at Station One. I really love the fact that there were only a few suppliers here. It gave us quality time to talk about the product and get back together again and just talk travel."
