Celebrity Cruises had come up with some rich offers for your clients with its Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, including 75% off for second guests and savings of up to $600 per stateroom. But Allan Brooks, Director, Market Sales for Celebrity, wanted to do something more for Canadian travel advisors selling the brand.
“’What more can we do?’ I thought,” says Brooks in a phone call from the Voyages en Direct conference in the D.R. “Agents had a hard hit over the past years, and, especially for Canadian agents, it’s not completely back to normal. So we wanted to do something nice.”
‘Something nice’ has taken the form of six free cruises for two for Canadian agents – one for each of Celebrity’s Canadian sales territories. The prizes also come with a $1,000 Air Canada credit.

“Giving the air component truly makes the contest more enticing and rewarding,” says Brooks. “We work very closely with our partners, and they’re always at the forefront of our minds.”
To enter the contest, all you have to do is book any 2024, Caribbean, Alaskan or European Celebrity Cruise in a veranda category stateroom or above, between November 6 and December 1, 2023. All eligible entries must be received by December 5 to qualify. You can click here to access the submission form.

There’s lots going on at Celebrity right now, as the line prepares to launch Celebrity Ascent, the fourth in the Edge series of highly innovative ships. TravelPulse Canada’s John Kirk will be aboard for the inaugural cruise and naming ceremony at the end of this month, so stay tuned for coverage and a video interview with Brooks.
Brooks also encourages Canadian advisors to ask their Celebrity sales manager about Celebrity Rewards, if they’re not already taking advantage of this travel agent loyalty program
Celebrity Rewards enables you to earn points on every Celebrity Cruises booking you make – on top of commission -- which can then be redeemed for cash onto a reloadable Celebrity Rewards Mastercard
You will receive points based on the category you book, for every cruise you sell, regardless of the length of the cruise or sailing date. Point awards add up to $15 per booking for upper suites in The Retreat, $10 for AquaClass/Concierge Class and $5 for veranda, ocean view and inside staterooms.
“It’s free money and not everyone is taking advantage,” says Brooks. “So speak to your sales manager and get onboard.”
