AIC Hotel Group recognized nearly 200 of its highest-producing travel advisors and more than 20 tour operator partners from Canada and the U.S. during its annual Showstopper Awards.
Held at the oceanfront, all-inclusive AVA Resort Cancun, the three-day event is the company's largest advisor celebration. This year’s gala was followed by an after-party headlined by six-time Grammy Award nominee B.o.B.
“We are pleased not only with the strong turnout we had at this year’s event, but with the overall growth we are seeing in all-inclusive hotel sales throughout Canada, and the outlook is especially strong in markets like Toronto and Vancouver,” said Ash Tembe, VP of North American Sales.
“Looking ahead, as our network of travel partners continues to grow, we look forward to finding more exciting ways to celebrate their many achievements. Next year’s Showstopper Awards will be the perfect place to do that.”
Attendance is invitation-only, reserved for advisors who earn Platinum sales status or higher.
The top recognition — the Black Diamond Award — goes to advisors who sell more than 500 room nights across AIC Hotel Group’s luxury all-inclusive portfolio in Mexico and the Caribbean.
“Congratulations to all the incredible achievers recognized at this year’s event,” Tembe added. “We were thrilled to award Transat as this year’s Rising Star, and to celebrate Air Canada Vacations for earning two standout distinctions: Top Overall Tour Operator Sales Canada and Top Field Sales Support Canada.”
Preparations are already underway for the 2026 Showstopper Awards, which will take place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
