5Continents announced its third edition of road shows March 23–26.
The company will host events in Langley, Richmond, Nanaimo, Calgary and Edmonton, giving travel advisors the opportunity to meet local partners from Thailand, Peru, Italy and Greece.
“We look forward to the opportunity to inspire you with these destinations and demonstrate how we can help you design itineraries that perfectly match your clients’ needs and budgets,” the company said in its announcement.
The series of free road shows across B.C. and Alberta will bring together four destination partners to share product updates, insider insights and practical selling tips. Designed to help advisors grow both FIT and group business, the sessions focus on tools to close more sales, direct access to international expertise and networking opportunities with industry peers.
While attendance is free, a $50 per person fee applies to no-shows. Register here.
Sailing Toward Southern Italy
5Continents recently collaborated with CroisiEurope to host 20 travel advisors and their companions on a FAM trip aboard the La Belle de l'Adriatique, a 190-passenger ocean vessel designed to access smaller ports and operate beyond traditional cruise routes.
The program began in Naples, with two nights organized in partnership with 5Continents’ local Italian office.
Participants explored the city’s historic centre and visited the Teatro di San Carlo. The itinerary also included a pizza-making class and, for some advisors, attendance at a UEFA Champions League match between SSC Napoli and Chelsea FC.
The cruise followed an overnight-in-port itinerary:
Naples – Milazzo – Messina – Vibo Marina – Salerno – Naples.
From Naples, guests visited the ancient ruins of Pompeii. In Messina, agents explored Sicily, including an excursion to Taormina.
A stop in Vibo Marina offered the chance to discover Tropea, while Salerno served as the gateway to Amalfi Coast. Capri was also among the highlights.
All excursions were included, allowing participants to experience each destination in depth.
Travelling in January, with temperatures around 14°C and fewer tourists, gave advisors a different perspective on Southern Italy’s cultural and historic sites.
5Continents noted that all CroisiEurope departures can be booked for both individual travellers and groups, with the option to combine customized pre- and post-cruise programs.
