Simply the Best: AMR Celebrates Agents and Grand Opening of Breathless

AMResorts is celebrating both travel agents and a positive outlook for 2022 with several key events in Cancun, Mexico - its second annual Amazing Agent Celebration and the much-anticipated opening of Breathless Cancun Soul Resort & Spa.

AMResorts is hosting its "best of the best" agents, including 20 from Canada, with four days of educational seminars, excursions and celebratory experiences. An awards gala evening will be held tonight at Dreams Vista.

Speaking with TravelPulse, Carolina Bellina, senior director, Canadian Sales, AMR Collection, said it's great to be able to host agents in person once again.

"We're very pleased. It's nice to interact and have fun with them," she said. "We appreciate all they have done for us this year and they're happy with all we have done to support them through all of this."

Part of the celebrations included an opportunity to attend the grand opening ceremonies of AMResorts' newest resort - Breathless Cancun, with an exclusive party that included top fashion designers and runway fashion show featuring Victoria Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, topped off by a spectacular fireworks show. The all-suite resort will start welcoming guests on Dec. 7.

Located 25 minutes from Cancun International Airport, the resort has 429 rooms (most overlooking the ocean), 10 restaurants, luxurious spa and unique activities and entertainment options.

Javier Navarro, director of sales, said the resort is based on seven pillars designed to wow guests - entertainment, music, pool and beach, spa, dining, fashion, and art and culture.

In other news, AMResorts is moving full speed ahead with expansion plans. Group president Gonzalo Del Peon shared some of what's on the immediate horizon for the company, including: Breathless Cancun (Dec. 7), Zoetry Casa Del Mar (Dec. 15), Zoetry Curaçao (Dec. 17), Secrets Moxche, Playa Del Carmen (Feb. 11), Secrets Impression Moxche, Playa Del Carmen (Feb. 25), Dreams Cozumel (March 1), Zoetry Marigot Bay, St. Lucia (June 1).
