Vegas is known for its big buffets and Michelin-star rated restaurants, but did venture off the strip to Freemont Street for which is arguably the best Thai food in the country. Le Thai serves authentic, made to order dishes, with a spice level from one to five. Try their lunch menu with excellent dishes in big portions for only $9.99.

I'd heard about this restaurant from good friends who rave about it - and not just for the unlimited wine. The steaks are delicious and their "cut of the week" option is a steal at $59/pp. Highly recommend the Nutella Crème Brulee for dessert.

For the best Greek food outside of the country, a visit to Milos in the Cosmopolitan Hotel is a must. The restaurant, which also has a location in Montreal, QC, features fresh dishes that are so authentic, you'd swear you had stepped into the Mediterranean. Try their prixe-fix lunch for only $29.

After a few days of eating and drinking in Vegas, it's a good idea to recharge and revitalize at the spa. But why break the bank on high-end spa treatments? Check into The Spa at the LINQ where $35 gets you a day pass to enjoy the steam room, Jacuzzi and a salt cave treatment.

While not exactly considered a cheap night out, with all the money you've saved on hotel and dining, why not hit an NHL game? Tickets run an average of $150 each, for good seats (still much cheaper than the Leafs!) and wow, does Vegas know how to put on a game. Not that we'd expect anything less of course, but it's almost like a two-in-one: a show and hockey game.
