About Frontier Airlines

Frontier states that its tagline, "A whole different animal," reflects its approach to the airline business based on four key principles: affordable, accommodating, flexible and comfortable. Currently in its 18th year of operations, Frontier operates more than 350 daily flights from its primary hub at Denver International Airport. Frontier offers service to more than 80 destinations in the United States, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Mexico. Frontier flies Airbus A320s, A319s and A318s and has a codeshare with Great Lakes Airlines for connections from smaller cities to Frontier's service at Denver, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix.

The original Frontier Airlines was Denver's hometown carrier for 40 years before it was purchased in 1986. In 1993, executives from the original Frontier Airlines and some newcomers to the industry, gave the old Frontier a fresh start to fill gaps in Denver's mainstream hub-and-spoke system. Frontier is subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings.
